Following on from receiving over 300,000 plays on ‘Me & You’, Polish producer KVMO brings forth his first offering of 2018 with the dark electronic ‘By Your Side’, which features Australian native TROVE on vocals.
From the moment ‘By Your Side’ begins KVMO brilliantly provides a visual landscape of the track rising through the darkness, which is crafted through the sampled elements surrounding the mix combined with the increased presence of the synths and bass in the introductory section. Once TROVE’s crisp vocals enter, the soundscape continues to intensify itself courtesy of pumping percussion that transcends into a momentary halt, allowing for a brief window of contemplation before the chorus drops.
TROVE’s effortless vocals lead the march into the chorus, which is met with varying sampled elements floating in and out of the background, as well as an increased presence of the vigorous bassline and concise percussion that when grouped together allows ‘By Your Side’ to achieve the emotionally-fired refrain it deserves.
