Recently Aussie electro-dance lads Nocturnal Tapes announced they’ll be releasing their debut EP later this month called “Visions IV”, and this week they’re continuing the tease with another little taste.

It’s called ‘Wake Up’ and it is a generous slice of psych-dance / space-house electronica, which kinda sounds like a mix between Tame Impala and LCD Soundsystem with its lush sonic textures, throbbing bass, pulsing electro beats and those soaring vocals.

“Without getting too dark, the song is about how everything in your life is leading up to the ultimate moment of death; time is a way we all die. So, why are so many of us wasting our lives locked to screens and living in routine?” – Nocturnal Tapes

You can pre-order “Visions IV” now via Sony Music Australia, just ahead of its release on August 25, and Aussie fans can catch them around the country this September as they take their debut ep on the road with Luke Million.
