As we all wait ever so patiently for the first new LCD Soundsystem album in over seven years to arrive, the dance-funk collective have decided to give us another little taste with a wickedly awesome disco-funk tune called ‘Tonite’, which also comes with a lo-fi live performance video that is giving me flashbacks to Splendour in the Grass.
Once your body settles into the lo-fi funk grooves of ‘Tonite’, you’ll start to notice James Murphy’s lyrics telling us that all music these days sounds the same before his ramblings morphs into a warning of our inevitable ends.
