The opening bars of ‘Paris’ will transport you to an underground jazz bar and have you fantasising of a balmy summer’s night in Paris.
ZiG is a collective of nine talented instrumentalists and producers, so there’s no wonder why this track blends R&B, funk, piano and synths so seamlessly to create an easy listening experience – not to mention the super smooth voice of good buddy NiC, aka Nic Hanson
Not only is this track an audio adventure, it’s a visual one too. I can really visualise a Broadway jazz pas de deux flowing through, as it breaks out into a lyrical hip-hop dance. This is the power of music; when you can see the notes come off the page.
This has put ZiG on the map and I’m excited to hear what other cocktail of sounds they make.
