There is this new wave of disco-R&B house music really making its mark right now, and this latest track from British producer Crvvcks is the perfect example of the new direction.
‘There For Me’ has a real sexy flow to it and amazingly features vocals from fellow Brit Javeon. You may remember his R&B opera short film we brought you earlier this year.
The fact these two have teamed up is super exciting. They’re clearly on the same page in terms of musical cohesion and both vibe really well sonically.
“I had some studio time with Javeon in London earlier in the year and I showed him the track to see if he could do some vocals for it, and we thought the line ‘Are you there for me’ was cool. We didn’t want to make the track into a song as it already had a lot of energy. More lyrics would have kinda felt a bit cluttered,” Crvvcks said.
The track is produced by Lewis of Just Kiddin and pays homage to the beats of Disclosure, Low Steppa and Gorgon City. This is definitely a weekend party starter.
