UK native Toddla T is sending some summer vibes through his wavy track titled “Magnet”, the second single off of his upcoming album ‘Foreign Light’ which is due for release on July 28th.

With dynamic vocals top lined by Andrea Martin and Toddla T’s signature Steel City bass line, “Magnet” infuses a cocktail of sounds just in time to subdue the midsummer blues.

After reflecting on the composition process, Toddla remarks, “The only downside to working with Andrea Martin is that sometimes the vocal is so good it’s tricky to match the production to the levels. So, I drew for one of my heroes … Chilly Gonzales to provide some magic and I now love this record.”

For those of you who don’t know, Toddla T has been climbing the rungs of the UK music for over years dating back as far as 2008 when he found himself working with Roots Manuva on his 2008 LP ‘Slime & Reason’. Having been heavily inspired by Jamaican culture and music, Toddla makes frequent trips to the island to fuel his journey in his career. With heavy support from the likes of i-D magazine and other widely acclaimed publications, Toddla T’s imminent album is sure to bring further success to the artist.
