Anna of the North is gearing up for the release of her debut album. From the sweet, sensual sounds of recent single ‘Lovers’, to the empowering, feel-good vibes on the album’s second single ‘Someone’.

‘Someone’ is an interesting blend of new and old sounds with its retro-styled synths and electronic beats, which gives it that kind of retro/electro synth-pop vibe, and her voice is just always on point with its beautifully tender tones.

“We think almost everyone has woken up after a big night, instantly regretting something that happened. It’s about how easy it is to break your promises when you’ve had a couple of drinks. Going deeper, the song is about accepting that you’re only human and to learn how to forgive yourself for your own mistakes and accepting that sometimes we need someone to save us from repeating any old habits.” – Anna of the North

She is sure is building quite a bit of anticipation I reckon.

Before you go anywhere let’s revisit the above mention album opener ‘Lovers’.
