LA production duo isle&fever provide a clever blend of jungle and funk within their latest offering ‘Keep Workin’.
Fresh off an impressive 2016 which saw the two-piece reach number 1 on Hype Machine with ‘Far Away’ and named a ‘Band to Watch’ in 2017 by Indie Shuffle, isle&fever continue true to their roots in this release with a central focus on an intriguing mix of several synthetic elements complimented by crisp harmonies and funk filled delight in both the guitar and bass.
What gives this track a point of difference is the offbeat percussion that is introduced around the 2:15-minute mark that subtly bleeds through the track and provides a point of emphasis in the chorus to lead through to a beautiful solo through the electronic piano.
‘Keep Workin’ is the first of three summer singles for isle&fever, and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for 2017!
