Norwegian producer Jerry Folk is back this week with a great new single called ‘Purple Feelings’, which has him enlisting the vocal stylings of a Los Angeles artist who goes by the name Rainsford, and together they’ve delivered quite an infectious little electro treat that is doing some nice things to my head this morning.
“I wanted to make something pretty that also bangs. I had tried quite a few toplines on the beat but nothing felt right. I met Rainsford and we did a couple very good sessions, and one of the ideas we did fit perfectly for the beat.” – Jerry Folk
‘Purple Feelings’ is also the first taste of a mixtape Jerry Folk will be releasing in early June called ‘Purple Evenings’.
