‘Selfish’ is the latest offering from producer/singer/record label owner The Kite String Tangle , and this week he has delivered an emphatic video to accompany the already enthralling release.
Teaming up with director Alexandra Green (MØ, Flux Pavilion, Frightened Rabbit), the video draws on the suspense created within the track through the night-time setting and the lead character being followed by an unknown person.
The key moment within the video is around the 2:29 mark, where the chase leads to an altered mood through the ‘interpretive’ dancing reflecting the intensity of the track. This is cleverly captured with beautiful lighting and a fog setting that leads to a thrilling conclusion whereby the character is met with his chaser in circumstances you just don’t see coming!
