R&B sensation Gallant has gifted us with a video to his track ‘Talking To Myself’, which features on his debut album, ‘Ology’. You’ll need a damp cloth for this one cause you’ll have some serious beads of sweat dripping down your face.

I’m just gonna say it. Gallant is sexy AF. He’s also a very classy guy who doesn’t sell himself for sex. Instead, he is a man of words and incredible vocal prowess, which is exactly what this song and video are all about.

The video is directed by Sasha Samsonova and really is quite a simple two-scene story. We find Gallant alone in Rae’s Diner, dressed in all black with a sleek turtle neck as he dances around in his distinctive style hitting those musical accents we’ve come to love about his orchestrations.

On the other, we have a sexy and bootylicious woman getting all hot and heavy in bed, alone might I add, longing to be touched. Now, I’m just gonna put it out there; could this particular storyline mean that self-love is a form of talking to yourself? I think it could be, but hey, jury’s still out on this one.

Gallant describes this video as “a scatter brain visual that perfectly parallels the raucous conversations I have with myself every night.” Look, I’d be quite happy to stay up for hours having chats with you Gallant. Really, I would.

Catch Gallant at this year’s Bluesfest, or perhaps one of his Sydney or Melbourne sideshows – click the poster for further details
