Another new release that came our way on Friday was a bit of a surprising one – after a seven-year hiatus, UK dance-funk master Jamiroquai released a brand new song called ‘Automaton’, which came with news a new album of the same name heading our way in March, and the man has got himself a shiny new hat!
The new track is accompanied by this electrifying neo-noir meets science fiction Charlie Lightening directed music video, as well as a bunch of live shows happening across Europe throughout March/August – there are no Aussie dates listed just yet but I have a feeling he could be a good candidate for Splendour in the Grass…just putting it out there!
‘Automaton’ will hit the shelves on March 31st through Virgin EMI.
