words by Angus Dawson

Hell of a year. Safe to say I’m still thrashing every record on this list, and probably will for a while. For me personally, it was a year of trying new things. I quit my regular job and aimed to try as many different, random jobs as I could. And it’s been great! I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who’s feeling a little confused with what direction their life is taking and what direction they want it to take.

Musically, I tried to achieve the same thing. I tried to challenge myself and listen to a whole bunch of music that I hadn’t before, old and new. Nonetheless, I am who I am and the below list is the music that connected with me the most.

I’m a die-had Bon Iver fan, along with so many other. And I just fucking loved what he did on ’22, A Million’. It got to the point where I was listening to the album in full every single day after its release so I had to limit my plays; I was all like ‘hey now Angus, don’t listen to it today and tomorrow you can listen to the whole thing’. Ridiculous.
