Sydney Mardi Gras 2016 [What’s On]

Sydney is going to be absolutely buzzing over the next few weeks as the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival kicks off with a huge variety of events including sports, theatre & performance, visual arts, talks & forums, sexy parties, a massive picnic in the park, and of course the world-famous Mardi Gras Parade!

It’s all kicking off this weekend with one of the community’s most-loved events, Fair Day, where everyone is welcome to come down to Victoria Park and enjoy a wide selection of international cuisines, learn more about some of your local community activities, or just sit and enjoy loads of colourful entertainment, out in the Aussie sun.

Below is just a quick rundown on some of the highlights of what is happening over the next few weeks, and if you head over to festival’s official website, you’ll find all sorts of information on things like the Mardi Gras Film Festival, Tina Arena on The Harbour, Mardi Gras Sunset Cruise and a Mamma Mia!
