words by Michael Hutchinson

The results for my Top 10 Albums of 2015 combine not only the quality of songs on the album and subsequent quantity of listens over the year, but also roughly how likely I’ll continue to listen to the album in time to come. I gravitated towards pop and RnB-sounding music this year for some reason, and that’s indicative in my picks.

There’s no doubt I missed, or didn’t get to listen to (haven’t even got around to Adele yet), many great albums this year but my ears and eyes are attached to a flawed human. Here’s, as always, to a bigger and better 2016. Stag out!

1. Years & Years – Communion

2. Carly Rae Jepsen – Emotion
3. Janet Jackson – Unbreakable
4. Disclosure – Caracal
5. Tame Impala – Currents
6. Daniel Johns – Talk
7. Ciara – Jackie
8. Pinkshinyultrablast – Everything Else Matters
9. Ellie Goulding – Delerium
10. Monarchy – Abnocto
