words by Natalia Morawski

2015 seemed to be a year for the return of old favourites for me, those bands and artists that bring good material each time round, never straying too far from their preconceived sound – and that’s just how it should be

The albums below were on my heavy rotation list this year; I listened to Sufjan Stevens‘ Carrie & Lowell everyday for an entire month, and almost eight months later I still listen to it like it came out today.

So here’s to the oldies, but also the goldies – not forgetting the few newbies who snagged a spot as well

  1. 1. Sufjan Stevens – Carrie and Lowell

  2. 2. Julia Holter – Have You In My Wilderness
  3. 3. Beach House – Depression Cherry
  4. 4. Project Pablo – I Want To Believe
  5. 5. Chaos In The CBD – Midnight In Peckham
  6. 6. Tame Impala – Currents
  7. 7. Admin – No Problemo
  8. 8. Moses Summney – Seeds
  9. 9. Mac Demarco – Another One
  10. 10. Beach House – Thank Your Lucky Stars
