LA newcomer Allen French has a great new tribal dance-jam to share with us this week called ‘Rosie’ that is sure to get you up and dancing around the room.

The track was co-produced with a guy called Joe Berry, and it features a thumping tropical-island beat, pan-pipe flues, and a soulful vocal that is in-fact taken from the original version of this song, which was recorded in 1947 by Alan Lomax inside the walls of the Mississippi State Penitentiary.

You can garb a free download via Toneden or pick it up from Beatport.
