UK muso Jamie Lidell is a man that likes to mix things up, he doesn’t adhere to the usual genre-boundaries and always manages to create something quite unique and really pleasant for the ears.
Jamie Lidell has a new track for us this week called ‘Pink Light’, and it has done all of that once again. It’s a soulful, slow-burning, synth-soak crooner that reminds me of something we’d expect to hear from the wonderful Twin Shadow, but it certainly has that certain Jamie Lidell flare that rubs me just the right way, every time.
‘Pink Light’ doesn’t look to be attached to anything as yet, but we’ll be sure to keep our ear to the ground for more news from the Lidell-camp.
