Budweiser, Made For Music and Universal Music Australia have teamed up to provide career opportunities, advice and guidance to up-and-coming Australian music producers, with Aussie favourites The Aston Shuffle and Adelaide’s Uberjak’d signing up as the first ever Budweiser Made For Music Mentors.
Unsigned artists are invited to upload their tracks at Budweisermadeformusic.com.au, where they can receive professional feedback personally from The Aston Shuffle and Uberjak’d, along with the chance to win opportunities that have been designed to help further their music career; one of these being an exclusive private listening session with Universal Music Australia’s A&R team.
Other benefits include music industry insights from Universal Music Australia heavyweights such as UMA MD Michael Taylor and head of A&R at EMI, Scott Horscroft.
Budweiser Made For Music will also be running an exclusive competition, which will attempt to uncover Australia’s best underground electronic music talent. Four winning artists will travel to Sydney for the chance to support The Aston Shuffle at a high-profile venue on 16 December 2014, and attend an exclusive two-day studio workshop session led by The Aston Shuffle and Uberjak’d.
The overall winner will also receive a life-changing opportunity to perform in front of Universal Music Australia’s A&R team, as well as a voucher for $5000-worth of studio equipment.
ENTRIES CLOSE ON OCTOBER 31st, so head over to the Budweiser Made for Music website and get your music uploaded and entered.
