Memory In Plant: Shame On Me [New Sounds]

Words by Carlos Duarte.

With their debut EP just around the corner, Tel Aviv up and comers Memory In Plant unleash ‘Shame On Me,’ an intriguing hybrid of experimental rock, reggae and psychedelic electronica.

Beginning with an irregular synth percussion rhythm and distorted vocals, the track soon shifts into an irresistible reggae groove with some heavy reverb added for extra effect. The transition from the eccentric beginning to the island flavoured mid section is seamless and serves as a taste of Memory In Plant‘s out of the box creativity which, along with their poetic lyricism, is one of their biggest assets.

The group’s EP, An Epic Triumph, is slated for release on August 31.
