Introducing a Swedish dream-pop duo known as Dream Lake, along with their gorgeously sunny new single ‘Let Us Stay In The Light.’
Through their music, Isabella Svärdstam and Niklas Willar Lidholm aim to express the emotional state that oscillates between dream and reality, with their melancholic tones, subtle lyricism and serene aural beauty.
‘Say My Name’ is latest single to come from Sydney favourites Olympic Ayres, and the third to fall from their forthcoming Leisureplex EP, which will be surfacing in just a few week’s time.
Nathan Mifsud and Kamaliza Salamba really know how to make a good catchy tune, and ‘Say My Name’ is just another example of this fact. With its funky bass line, wandering synth, gloosy guitar licks and that cow-bell intro, there isn’t much else you could ask for really.
Leisureplex EP is due for release on September 18, but you can pre-order it now through iTunes.
19 year old Brisbane-based producer Feki has been making quite the name for himself of late with some amazing remixes he has produced for the likes of cln, GRMM, Kilter and The Preatures, but today the dude is sharing his latest original production, ‘Nothing Lasts Forever.’
With its buoyant future-chill beats, a smooth seductive R&B groove, and his staple “yeah” vocal sample, Feki‘s sound maintains this soulful edge, which allows us all to easily connect and move with his tunes.
Featuring the mastering skills of fellow Brisbane-based producer Omniment, ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ is taking this young producer to a whole new level of notability, and confirming a solid position within the global electronic music scene.
We have a little treat for you all tonight – Brissy producer Feki has teamed up with Sydney’s GRMM to produce this amazing remix of ‘Two Tone Melody,’ the latest single from Aussie rockers, The Preatures.
It’s difficult not to get a bit lost in this one, as the boys weave Isabella Manfredi‘s vocals between smooth waves of daydream-inducing beats and production, resulting in a track that yearns for your attention.
You can pick up the original version of ‘Two Tone Melody’ now through iTunes, but before you do, go give GRMM and Feki some social loving.
