FBi Radio‘s Northern Lights Competition is kicking off again today, but this year they are opening the entrant criteria up to all of Australia.
FBi Radio will be taking one lucky solo producer/artist, and one band on an incredible adventure to the prestigious Iceland Airwaves Festival, held in Reykjavik this coming November.
The Iceland Airwaves Festival is renowned for its stellar annual lineup, showcasing some of the best music from around the world. Previous winners of Northern Lights Competition were Oliver Tank and Rainbow Chan, who have both gone on to establish quite a reputation for themselves in the Australian music scene.
To coincide with the national call-out, FBi Radio will also be hitting the road with their Music Open Day, in collaboration with community stations around the country. Music Open Day gives local emerging musicians the opportunity to meet with the FBi Radio Music Director and music programming team, to seek advice and discuss ideas on all things music.
The entries for the Northern Lights Competition are open from today, June 26 to July 21.
To be eligible, you must be an emerging solo artist/producer or band, and an Australian resident.
Music Open Day Timetable:
Friday, July 11 – 4ZZZ, Brisbane
Tuesday, July 15 – Fresh FM, Adelaide
Wednesday, July 16 – RTR FM, Perth
