The Aston Shuffle are this week releasing ‘Back & Forth,’ the next single to fall from their latest killer record Photographs, which happens to feature Sydney producer/singer/songwriter, Elizabeth Rose.
When I first heard this track a few months ago, I wasn’t really vibing on it all that much, but then after maybe 4 times through, it easily became my favourite on the album.
My instincts head straight towards the track’s super funky disco undertones. I feel Elizabeth’s delivery of the single works so well, that I’m left wanting more of this style from her, in her own work.
The album version of ‘Back & Forth’ is an epic 7-minutes long, but here is the 4.5 minute radio edit.
