Say hello to Anthony Weis, a Chicago-based experimental musician who has just released his latest ten-track album, Aubade Crowning.
It really is a unique collection of tunes, which Anthony says is drawn from his love of Brian Eno and Explosions in the Sky, among various other world music genres. The album’s delicate percussions remind me of The Album Leaf, creating a pleasant and calming listening environment.
Take a listen to this nine-minute album-cut, ‘Craft and Commonplace.’
If you dig the sound of that one, you’ll likely enjoy the rest of Aubade Crowning, which you can pick up now from the Anthony Weis Bandcmap page.
