Vivid Sydney 2014: The Pixies, Pet Shop Boys and Giorgio Moroder

In just 73 days, the annual celebration of music, art and ideas known as Vivid Sydney 2014 will commence for its sixth year running and the organisers have really outdone themselves with what is possibly the best music lineup to-date.

Headlining the music aspect of Vivid Sydney 2014 will be The PixiesPet Shop Boys and the legendary Godfather of disco Giorgio Moroder.

The Presets will also be performing a special live collaboration with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Vivid Lights will be making its glorious return as it transforms the sails of the Sydney Opera House into a wonderment of dazzling Technicolour projections, provided this year by London based creative agency 59 Productions.

Additionally, Sydney Harbour ferries and vessels will be adorned with custom LED lights which automatically change colour according to their location and the Customs House will of course be adorned with its mind-blowing light projections.
