Sydney-based electronic producer Oliver Tank has just recently unveiled his latest audible collection Slow Motion Music EP, as well as announcing an Aussie tour for February 2014.
We caught up with Oliver the other day to ask what the first CD he ever bought was – we were quite surprised!
“My first CD was Limp Bizkit‘s “Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water”. I was in year 6 at the time and had just started getting into music. I thought Limp Bizkit were so cool and I loved the album. Some stand out tracks for me included ‘My Generation,’ ‘Rollin’ and ‘Take a Look Around’. I let my friend borrow the CD so he could put it on his computer and he never gave it back! Otherwise I’d probably still have it. Needless to say we aren’t friends anymore. I don’t still listen to it at all to be honest. I’m more on this chill trip now. But I still appreciate the album and those songs will always have a special place in my heart, as ridiculous as that may sound.”
Here is ‘My Generation’ by Limp Bizkit.
Now let’s get that heart back to normal levels with Oliver Tank‘s latest single ‘Different Speeds,’ featuring Ta-ku.
Oliver Tank’s Slow Motion Music EP is available now from iTunes.
As mentioned above, Oliver will be hitting the road in February for a string of shows across Australia.
