Sydney slacker-pop band Bearhug have been a favourite for some time now, but I only just realised they’d put out new material earlier this year. I let that one slip through the cracks somewhat, but won’t let their upcoming gig at the Brighton Up Bar do the same.
Recently signed to Spunk Records, this Thursday sees the five-piece take the stage at one of Sydney’s most intimate venues. For just 10 bucks, you get a copy of the band’s latest EP Over Easy (which you can stream below) upon entry to the gig, which will also feature support from Joseph Liddy, Skeleton Horse and the Metal Babies.
