Van She: Australia + New Zealand Tour [Ticket Giveaway]

Australian electro-pop lads Van She are currently in Jamaica, filming the music video for latest single of the same name. Next week however, they return to our fine land to kick off a massive Australian and New Zealand tour promoting the release of new album, Idea Of Happiness.

Joining them for most of the Australian tour dates are honorary stags RüFüS, making this tour one not to miss!

Justin Erougian is AIRWOLF, another talented Melbourne-based producer making a big name for himself in the Australian, electro music scene.

AIRWOLF has unleashed new single ‘Believer,’ featuring Alex Rose on vocals. The release is partnered with delicious remixes from What So Not, Dom DollaEverything Yes, and Moonchild. Stream them all here:

Alice Fox and Jack St James are the masterminds behind the electronic/dystopic Avec Sans project. They’ve just unleashed ‘Heartbreak Hi’ – their first original track:

Divine Fits: Would That Not Be Nice [New Music]

Last week, we announced the very exciting collaboration between Spoon‘s main-man Britt DanielDan Boeckner of  Wolf Parade and Handsome Furs fame, and Sam Brown of New Bomb Turks, resulting in the formation of Divine Fits.

Along with that piece of juicy news was first single ‘My Love Is Real,’ which they had streaming via Facebook. Well, it’s now available to stream with another new track in-tow, titled ‘Would That Not Be Nice.’ Listen to both tracks below:

Julian Plenti (Interpol): Summertime Is Coming [New Music]

Paul Banks is better known as the front-man of New York indie trio Interpol. However, in 2009 he released a full-length solo record under the moniker of Julian Plenti, titled Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper.

Banks recently announced that he’s working on a follow-up to that record, which he hopes to have out later this year. In the meantime, an EP has been readied, called Julian Plenti Lives…

The Julian Plenti Lives… EP features two original songs along with three covers that were originally produced by J Dilla, Harold Faltermeyer, and Frank Sinatra.

Sydney-bred producer/babe Anna Lunoe has joined forces with fellow Sydney-sider Harley Streten (AKA Flume) and Touch Sensitive to unleash aptly titled EP Anna Lunoe & Friends: Real Talk.

The EP is a melting pot of quality, Australian talent that serves as a showcase for the global music industry.

Jus†ice: New Lands EP [New Music]

Parisian electro duo Jus†ice have announced their return to Australia for 2012’s Parklife festival circuit. Ahead of their visit, they’ve unleashed their New Lands EP, which features tidy remixes of the Audio, Video, Disco track from SebastiAnFalcon and A-Trak.

Florrie: Late EP [New Music + EP Stream]

English singer/songwriter/drummer/model Florrie (AKA Florence Arnold) has just dropped new, sophomore EP Late.

Bloc Party: FOUR [Teaser + Track-list]

Last week in Glasgow, Bloc Party played their first show in almost three years. Amidst their epic seventeen-track set, were several brand newies from recently announced forth-comer FOUR.

Two of the new tracks were ‘Real Talk’ and ‘Team A.’ Though a shitty recording, it’ll wet the lips of hardcore fans.

Stars: The Theory of Relativity [New Music]

Canadian indie-pop rockers Stars have served up fresh material along with news of an upcoming record titled The North.

The North is the band’s sixth full-length release that was recorded in Montreal and co-produced by Graham Lessard and Marcus Paquin. Paquin being known for his work with Arcade Fire (Neon Bible and The Suburbs).

Last week, Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie posted a cover of the Stars’ track ‘Set Yourself On Fire,’ which he produced nearly four years ago for covers-and-remixes album Do You Trust Your Friends?

The North by Stars will hit stores on September 4 through ATO Records.

Russ Chimes: Back To You [New Music + Ticket Giveaway]

London born and bred producer/DJ Russ Chimes is returning to Australia next week for a string of east coast shows, promoting latest single ‘Back To You.’

Since 2010, Chimes has delivered a unique style of electrifying disco/pop/house to an expanding fan-base across the globe. During that time, he has also dropped two EPs (Midnight Club and Tonic/Helix) and generated a tidy repertoire of sexy house remixes for the likes of Ellie Goulding, Booka Shade, Kelis, Marina & The Diamonds, and Mark Ronson.
