Sufjan Stevens: Pleasure Principle [Acoustic]

Yes, more Sufjan Stevens and this one is sure to give you goose-bumps all over.

He dropped into New York radio station WNYC on Friday for an interview in the lead up to his final Age Of Adz performances. During the IV he performed an acoustic rendition of the final three minutes from the epic 25-minute Age Of Adz closing track, ‘Impossible Soul’. The excerpt has been dubbed ‘Pleasure Principle’ and features Sufjans’ live back-up vocalists/dancers as well as an accompaniment by Bryce Dessner of The National on guitar:

He’s so dreamy…

Check out the entire 20-minute WNYC interview here where you will hear all about the inspiration behind Age Of Adz, an acoustic version of ‘Heirloom’ taken from Sufjan’s 2010 All Delighted People EP as well as a freaking beautiful acoustic version of ‘Futile Devices’:

Total Warr: Please Never Come Back Again [EP Sream]

French electro, dance-rock duo Kiki and Guigui are Total Warr and the boys are back with a new EP they are calling, Please Never Come Back Again.

The boys like to describe their live gigs as “a powerful, catchy and dancy show; think Best Coast, Panda Bear and Dan Deacon put in a blender and poured over vodka”  – We want in on that action.

Stream their latest EP right here:

Björk: Cosmogony

While we wait oh-so patiently for the release of Björk’s forthcoming project that is Biophilia, she seems quite content on making us squirm in anticipation, leaking a few tracks here and there just to keep us all on the edge.

The first teaser from the album to date was ‘Crystalline’:    Mobile users, click here to listen.

Just two days ago she dropped a little ditty called ‘Cosmogony’:

We do still have a while to wait until we hear the entire record. In the meantime though, download the Biophilia app on iTunes! Check out the trailer below – narrated by the legendary David Attenborough.

Biophilia comes out September 26.
