No Age: Everything In Between

Two-piece indie-rock group No Age released their latest LP yesterday titled Everything In Between. The album seems to have a more matured approach to their previous releases (2007’s Weirdo Rippers & 2008’s Nouns) along with their outlook – which is clearly noticeable within their lyrics. Even though Everything In Between outshines ‘everything’ the band has released to date, they haven’t really lost any of their techniques and styles so much as to have meerely improved on them. The album is sure to increase No Age’s already considerable fanbase.

Everything In Between can be streamed in full here:

If you want a copy it can be purchased via iTunes.

N*E*R*D: Nothing Really…

N*E*R*D are back and set to drop album number 4 on November 2nd. The album artwork for Nothing has just been released (pictured above) as has new single ‘Party People’. Last month the guys played a live set showing off some of their new material to appear on the album. Check it here:

‘Hot N’ Fun’ (featuring Nelly Furtado) landed a few months back and has since been remixed by the likes of Yeasayer.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t visited the N*E*R*D website of late, you probably should. We haven’t been able to get passed the intro… Somewhat addictive and hypnotic.

Crystal Fighters: Star Of Love

Argentinean disco party crew Crystal Fighters will be releasing their debut album on October 4. The album can really only be described as an instrumental avalanche of distorted vocals, screaming guitars, thumping bass and disco-synth. The group do however manage to make all of this work throughout the album.

Here’s a taste of their anomalous sound:
