Dappled Cities are back with a new track, a new album, and a few new Aussie shows

‘Architecture’ is the third single from Melbourne alt-pop duo Manor, composed by Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! members Caitlin Duff (vocalist) and Nathaniel Morse (multi-instrumentalist).

The Dappled Cities are one of Sydney’s most well-loved bands, having released numerous albums and EPs to date and this year marks the band’s ten-year anniversary.

Given the tropical, upbeat nature of Panama’s music, you’d assume the band’s mastermind Jarrah McCleary was brought up on a diet of 80s pop music. You’d be very wrong.

Dave Rennick of Dappled Cities and Art vs. Science’s Dan Williams join Feelings on new single ‘Intercourse,’ a catchy sex-pop tune co-written by Michael Tomlinson of Yves Klein Blue fame.

Last week, we spoke with a free-balling Dave Rennick – one fifth of renowned Sydney-based indie-rock crew Dappled Cities. We discussed new, fourth studio record Lake Air, details of their upcoming tour, and the band’s severe lack of punch-ups.
