Experimental composer Jon Hopkins has teamed up with the angelic Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) for a contribution to the soundtrack of Kevin Macdonald’s new film, How I Live Now. The result is a gorgeous production titled ‘Garden’s Heart.’

This fan-funded project earned the collective a record breaking $735,000, 14 days ahead of its release. Punk cabaret diva Amanda “Fucking” Palmer has joined forces with The Grand Theft Orchestra to produce a new project.

Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls) will release her new solo album this month, titled Amanda Palmer Goes Down Under. The album is a tribute to Australia and New Zealand having been written and recorded in both countries. The LP includes a few Nick Cave and Peter Jeffries covers.
