German electro producer Kris Menace is one of the nicest guys that we’ve ever had the pleasure of interviewing. A recent Skype date revealed details regarding latest album ‘Features,’ along with new projects he has in the pipeline.
We had a 3-way Skype-date with Norwegian electro-wunderkinds Ulrik and Ketil from Lemâitre. Discussed was latest EP ‘Relativity 3,’ as well as things to come including their plans to head to Australian shores next summer for some festival action.
Last week, we interviewed Oli Chang – one-half of Brooklyn-based dream-pop duo High Highs. They’re currently in the country for the 2013 St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival circuit and are hoping to squeeze in some spearfishing while Down Under.
It’s impossible to not like Toucan. Jess and Shea off-stage are much like their on-stage personas: full of smiles and genuine enthusiasm. Acid Stag got to hang out with the delightful duo behind the scenes at Sydney’s Big Day Out on January 18.
Yolanda Be Cool recalled ‘We No Speak Americano’ to make way for debut record ‘Ladies & Mentalmen.’ We spoke to Sylvester Martinez, one half of the Bondi Beach duo. The record, Pitbull, and threesomes were hot topics.
Swedish tech-house producer Adrian Lux will be returning down-under in a few weeks for New Year celebrations. Ahead of his Field Day performance, we spoke to the Western European babe about past, present and future collabs/releases, along with finger-boarding.
Legendary British house DJ/producer Nick Warren is currently gigging around the country. We jumped on the horn to have a quick chat with him between shows about his travels and latest compilation release.
