Melbourne muso Simon Lam (of I’lls and Klo) has just released an incredible new song called ‘Tin’, under the new alias Nearly Oratorio, and I have to say that it just may be the best piece of music I’ve heard this week.
‘Tin’ has a kind of weird, off-kilter, textural sound that just does all sorts of nice things to my head – makes me think of Caribou mixed with a bit of Four Tet
‘Tin’ is the title-track from Nearly Oratorio’s upcoming debut EP which is due out on April 11, through Solitaire Recordings.
