As most people that dabble in the electronic music world are aware, the 2015 Electronic Music Conference (EMC) is going down again in Sydney this December, and after two solid rounds of EMC PLAY showcase announcements, the organisers are now excited to reveal this year’s Masterclass Theatre program; a series of panels, workshops and production sessions designed to provide insider info on the fundamentals of production and the inner workings of the electronic music industry.
Hosted by Tom Piper, this year’s Masterclass Theatre will feature some of the brightest artists in electronic music including cln, Kilter, PACES, Go Freek, KLP, Slumberjack, Tigerlily and Yolanda Be Cool, alongside some of the most influential people behind the scenes such as Ben Dennis (Peking Duk MGMT), Julian Hewitt (of Media Arts Lawyers), Dom Furber (Carmada & L D R U MGMT) and General Manager of 120 Publishing, Karen Hamilton.
