Remix This is a place where we share some of the incredible upbeat remixes that we receive each week. They deserve to be seen and heard just as much as anything else, but we simply don’t have the time or capacity to give them all their own space on the site.
A lot of them will be seen in a Friday MixTape at some point, but for now you can enjoy each of them in their own space.
Remember; be smooth and groove

A London newcomer who goes by the name Holy ’57 has revealed his debut EP this week, titled ‘H’ it features four really great examples of his indie/nostalgic-pop sound, and I reckon it will rub a lot of you the right way.
Holy ’57‘s H EP is available now via Bandcamp, and be sure to go give the man some love on his socials.
Melbourne lads Strange Talk gave us a few great new songs recently which were taken from a new EP they had underway. That EP is called E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N and it is now here for us all to devour.
The five-track EP serves up a generous serving of thumping dance beats, echoing synths and crisp dynamic vocals – there’s even a guest appearance from Aussie songstress Bertie Blackman on one of the tracks, and that closing Daft Punk-inspired track is just a total killer
Strange Talk‘s E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N EP is available now from iTunes
The boys are currently on tour across USA, and if you’re a fan of their music then you’re really going to love seeing them do it all live. Check out the dates below and then click the artwork for further details.
Each week I collected a bunch of tracks that have stood out to me in some particular way, and come Friday I have quite a neat little collection of really cool, interesting and fun songs to share with you.
Here are my Friday Favourites for this week. If you’d like to know more about any of the below tunes, or the artists themselves, click on through to their associated Soundcloud pages.
The Code – F**K
Bobby Tank x Godwolf – Paradox
CAPYAC – Speedracer
Le Flex – Where I Wanna Be (Tonight)
Jodie Abacus – Halfway To Mexico (prod. By Royce Wood Junior)
20 year-old music-maker Amber Bain, aka The Japanese House, has another great new track to share with us this week titled ‘Letter By The Water’, the third single to be pulled from her upcoming EP, Clean.
Don’t know about you guys, but for me there’s just something about her sound that just makes me want more, and I can’t help going back for another play.
Eleanor Friedberger is known for her role as one-half of the The Fiery Furnaces, and just recently she announced she has a new solo album on the way called New View.
This week Eleanor Friedberger is giving the first taste of that album with this chilled new tune called ‘He Didn’t Mention His Mother’, and fans of her indie-electronic, folk-pop sound are really going to enjoy this one.
Traditional Late Night Drinking from Sydney producer Future Love Hangover (the sci-fi pop-record written from 30 years in the future, by robots wishing they were humans living the past) has finally arrived.
This is an album that you can easily immerse yourself in. It’s built for large speakers turned up to excessive volumes, or even a nice set of headphones for an introspective journey. It will take you on a incredible ride through a futuristic world of sound & space.
Another really cool thing about Traditional Late Night Drinking is its multi-sensory website, that allows its user to purchase the album’s tracks by using “Time” for currency instead of money
LA production duo BETABLOCK3R are back this week with another little slice of their indie-electronic, nu disco pie.
It’s called ‘Out Of Touch’ and it is rich with those disco-dance flavours, a driving beat and those crisp summery sing-along vocals – this is a song for cruising around the coast in a convertible with the top down
You can pick up your very own copy of that track from iTunes right now, and give the BETABLOCK3R guys a stalk on the below.
Single Sessions is a place where we encourage you to sit back and relax, put on your headphones and block out the rest of the world for a short time, while you treat your ears to some fresh aural stimulation.

Shigeto is releasing his new EP tomorrow through Matthew Dear‘s label, Ghostly International, and today we can stream it in all of its blissed-out, electronic greatness.
It’s called Intermission EP and it is a six-track collection of some of Shigeto‘s finest arrangements of percussive sounds, polyrhythmic grooves, wonky synths and textural drifts. Sit back and let this one be fully absorbed.
Let’s open today when this great new track from Nashvillian singer/songwriter/producer KAPTAN, titled Let’s Go’, it is rimming with playful, uplifting, indie-pop feels and it is the next taste of his upcoming EP.
This one will definitely set a nice mood for the day ahead.
KAPTAN‘s new EP called Sprinter and it should be within our grasp very soon.
