Sydney Festival is shaping up to be bigger and better in 2014 by partnering with Modular People for two special one-off events.
Modular People will be taking over with Paradiso at Town Hall showcasing an eclectic line-up that promises to have something to suit many tastes. Detroit techno originator Juan Atkins will be headlining the night and will be supported by local nocturnal-beats crew Movement, acid house lab-rat Roland Tings, bearded techno futurists wordlife and DJ/production duo Softwar.
Just a few nights later at Sydney Opera House, Concert Hall they deliver 100 Million Nights; the sight and sound collaboration between renowned visual artist Daniel Boyd and local indie-electro lads Canyons, offering an emotive and psychedelic experience for the mind, body and soul.
100 Million Nights rounds out its evening of sensory exploration with former Battles frontman and solo artist Tyondai Braxton, the force behind HIVE; a live multimedia performance that is one part installation and one part band.
