After meeting in New York, multi-instrumentalist Jenno Bjørnkjær and vocalist Katherine Mills Rymer bonded over their mutual love for French synth and all things Russian. Teaming up led to the birth of OOFJ.
The duo self-describe themselves as “an electronic Franco-Russo wind gyrating with a symphony orchestra with the sound of lingerie vocals that make you cry in a good-looking way.”

OOFJ’s debut album Disco to Die is out on March 26 via the band’s own label, Clapyouclapme.
