From East London comes the reasonibly fresh and fairly young quartet Yehan Jehan & Antimatter People (YJ&AP).
Fronted by Yehan Jehan (and his massive hair), the band has established an interesting baroque, psych-rock style that boasts hypnotic melodies, euphoric guitar leads and catchy bass lines, against a psychedelic back-drop.
YJ&AP can be likened to the metaphorical offspring of Grizzly Bear and Tame Impala. ‘PHOSPHENE’ is their new single:
