From the coast of Santa Monica comes ridiculously talented, 16-year-old Junior High School student Robert Tilden.
Instead of buying an Xbox for Christmas like most of his peers, Robert bought a discount Pro Tools rig and began making music in his basement under the moniker of Friendly Ghost.
He has already released a debut five-track EP and now has a self-titled, seven-track LP up his sleeve.
Stream the latter, which oozes major Passion Pit vibes.
Released in December 2011 was Friendly Ghost’s No Sleep in the City EP:
It’s only a matter of time until he’s a household name, in the musical sense, not so much in the animated ghost sense.
