After a three year battle with cancer, Beastie Boys co-founder and Grammy-winner Adam “MCA” Yauch passed away on Friday, May 4 at the young age of 47.
As the news spread, countless musicians and celebrities penned tributes to honour the inspirational Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. Coldplay’s Chris Martin expressed his admiration by covering one of the group’s biggest hits at a Hollywood Bowl concert.
