Indie-balkan folk group Beirut have recently started touring again and to the delight of fans have unveiled a few new tracks. Two days ago, they announced a new 7″ single for the very sublte, ornate track ‘East Harlem’: Mobile users, click here to listen.
We also have the single’s B-side track, ‘Goshen’: Mobile users, click here to listen.
The 7″ will be in limited supply and unfortunately only available from their live shows.
The group have however confirmed that they will be releasing a new album in a few months, titled The Rip Tide. It’s due out August 30 via frontman Zach Condon’s own label Pompeii Records.
Beirut’s tour will be taking them across America and parts of Europe with likes of Twin Sister and Owen Pallett tagging along for a few shows, while they themselves will be supporting acts like The National, Arcade Fire and Mumford and Sons. Get all their tour info right here.
