Australian electro-dance duo PNAU are readying the release of the follow-up to 2007’s epic self-titled LP – tentatively titled Soft Universe.
Nick Littlemore had this to say about the making of LP #3 on their Facebook page:
“This record is poppier and more structured. We’re trying to move away from the club to create something bigger, for a bigger stage. Sonically and musically it’s all about having our arms as outstretched as possible. Hopefully it will reach around the globe.”
“Every record we make feels like a brand new album from a brand new band. We like to start with a clean slate and this time the object has been to capture the human experience and love and hate as the key experiences within that. Now we want to take those emotions and translate them to crowds of 20,000 or even 20 million.”
You would have heard the first single from the record or one of its many remixes. Here’s ‘The Truth’ in its original form:
The latest track to fall from the album is called ‘Solid Ground’ and it sounds quite epic to say the least. Check out its official music vid – it’s low budget sexy:
Here’s a sneak peek of a remix by Swedish electro producer Adrian Lux:
Next up, a remix from Sydney’s own Cassian:
