French electro producer Anthony Gonzalez better known by stage moniker M83, is soon set to unleash the follow-up to his highly acclaimed Saturdays = Youth LP. So much so that he has sent out a little teaser/preview clip to get us frothing.
No information regarding the album’s title or even a release date have yet surfaced. However, Gonzalez did mention recently that it will be “very very very epic”. The double album will feature a collaboration with Zola Jesus (Beck is also rumoured to be making an appearance) and is inspired “mostly by dreams”.
The organisers of The Falls Music & Art Festival have just this morning released a small taste of what they have in store for this year’s event. The first artists to be confirmed are:

The festival will once again be taking place over New Years Eve 2011/2012. It will be held over 4 days in Victoria and 3 days in Tasmania. To be in the running for a ticket, you do need to enter the ballot so be sure to get onto this as soon as possible!

Last night, the long awaited fourth season of the successful TV series, True Blood premiered on HBO. To coincide with the launch of the new season, the station also released a track from the forthcoming True Blood – Volume Three Soundtrack.
The track is a reinterpretation of The Zombies’ classic 1964 hit, ‘She’s Not There’ by American singer-songwriter Neko Case, in collaboration with the legendary Nick Cave.
Lo-fi chillwave producer Ernest Greene (aka Washed Out) has unveiled another tune from his forthcoming debut LP, Within and Without. The two already released tracks are below. In less than a month we’ll be able to cop a full listen of the record – no doubt we’ll be sporting many excitement boners closer to its release.
Berlin-based electro-glitch producer, Sascha Ring aka Apparat, has announced the name and release date for his highly anticipated fourth studio LP. Titled The Devil’s Walk it will be out on September 27 via new label, MuteDotCom.
Sascha is doing a few shows between now and August. Get all the dates via the Apparat tour page.
UK born composer, performer and producer Derwin Panda (aka Gold Panda) is giving away yet another new song over at his website. Derwin states that “the track isn’t from a forthcoming release nor part of the Lucky Shiner album, it’s absolutely brand new.”
He has also announced a string of shows across Europe and the USA between now and October. You can grab all those dates here.

Hailing from Reykjavík, Iceland comes indie-dance crew FM Belfast. With them, they bring album number two, Don’t Want to Sleep. English electro duo Lamb are back with record number five, originally titled 5. It is the very long awaited follow-up to their 2003 release, Between Darkness and Wonder. The record sports 12 tracks, one of which being a collaborative effort with Irish singer-songwriter Damian Rice on ‘Back to Beginning’.

AutoKratz return with their second album and it’s a killer. Self Help For Beginners is the follow-up to 2009’s Kitsuné released LP, Animal. It boasts a heavy mix of collaborative tracks featuring New Order bassist Peter Hook, Primal Scream guitarist Andrew Innes and Primal Scream/Kasabian producer, Jagz Kooner.
