Hudson Mohawke has just given us his first solo album in over seven years, it’s called “Cry Sugar” and features a very eclectic array of sounds across its 19-track collection, and it’s certainly going to stimulate the senses.

It’s also said to be inspired by apocalyptic film scores and soundtracks, and as he reveals below it almost didn’t actually happen…

“Many many many times in the last 7 years I thought I’d probably never do another album again, thank fuck managed to pull through that. Thanks to everyone who helped out along the way. Special fuck you to everyone that denied a sample clearance. You can fuck right off. Thanks everyone for listening. Love yous.” ~ Hudson Mohawke (via Instagram)
